It had peaceful and handy location, the place was a short walk to Grand-Fort-Philippe city centre.

This hotel was reliable and I would stay here again. The staff was welcoming and polite, the accommodation was modest and fairly clean. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was small and offered amazing dishes.

The breakfast had a huge variety of selection, the food was outstanding. Enjoyed staying at the king room with a fantastic window as well as gorgeous views. The location was incredible, right by a marvellous harbour, the Calais to Dover crossing and the marina. I stayed at this hotel before and would happily go back again.

Great-sized units with comfortable beds, a ‘ view of the sea', excellent value for money, and the staff were excellent. Stunning location - walking distance to everywhere we needed. This hotel was in a beautiful area.

Picturesque location close to the port, and excellent bedrooms. And just off the lagoon, the light house on the other side and the beach and grand fort.

Wi-Fi was very spotty.

Excellent base for exploring Grand-Fort-Philippe. Fairly clean place with particularly good view of the sea. A great selection of goodies for breakfast.

Everything met required needs, I would definitely go again. The accommodation was reliable with affable and exceptionally nice staff. This was an amazing and fantastic location very close to the Port, the beach, and grand fort.

The location of the hotel was great and beautiful - not very far from Gravelines Lighthouse. It was set in a great area. The small onsite restaurant had lots of food.

It was an excellent value and well-kept place to stay with excellent value. In the restaurant they served French cuisine dishes.

We received excellent value for our money at L'Univers. The room was clean, comfortable, and had stunning views. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach where we could enjoy miles of beautiful coastline. The staff were incredibly friendly, funny, and made us feel right at home.

The morning meal could have been improved with the addition of a tea/coffee maker in the room. Starting the day with a warm cup of tea is essential for us Brits.

Really good experience there. Reliable pleasant hotel with picturesque location in grand fort Phillip. Comfortable bed in the king room, plus central heating and a work desk. Good views of the sea all around. Location next to the lagoon, the light house on the other side and the beach, the channel and french cheese coffee.
